1. Overview
JoltSage is a Threads content workspace for creators. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, profile name, and plan status.
- Content inputs: seed posts, keywords, and prompts you provide.
- Content drafts: posts and replies created or edited in the workspace.
- Usage data: feature usage, timestamps, basic performance metrics.
- Threads analytics (optional): if you connect Threads, we read engagement stats such as likes, replies, reposts, follows, and views.
- Threads operation data (optional): connected profile metadata, publish events, reply events, keyword-search results, and post-delete events requested by you.
- External AI app data (optional): when you authorize ChatGPT, Codex, or another OAuth client, JoltSage processes the client identity, requested tool actions, selected account, eligible synced content and metrics, configured promo-product truth, recommendations, and exact seed approvals needed to complete your request.
3. How We Use Data
- Deliver and improve the service.

4. Threads Connection and API Actions
When you connect Threads through Meta OAuth, JoltSage may use approved permissions to support your chosen features. Depending on your plan and settings, this can include analytics sync, publish, read replies, manage replies, keyword search, and post deletion on your behalf.
- Lite/Starter/Pro/Scale can connect Threads and sync analytics.
- Lite can publish eligible single posts immediately. Starter, Pro, and Scale can publish approved posts immediately and use API scheduling.
- Pro/Scale can read and manage replies when you use reply workflows.
- Pro/Scale can run keyword search workflows for discovery.
- When you request deletion, JoltSage can attempt deletion through supported Threads API endpoints.
We only execute account actions after explicit connection and user-initiated app actions or enabled automation settings.
5. ChatGPT, Codex, and Other Authorized AI Apps
If you connect an external AI client through JoltSage OAuth, that client may receive the JoltSage tool results you request under the client provider's own terms and privacy policy. Anonymous example analysis uses only the text and metrics you choose to submit. Private account analysis requires your authenticated approval and reads only directly owned, already-synced eligible evidence.
The initial JoltSage Threads Growth Intelligence tools can analyze evidence, preview seed and product hypotheses, and save only exact seed candidates you explicitly approve. They cannot schedule or publish posts, send replies, delete content, change billing, or access another customer's account. You can review and revoke authorized OAuth apps in JoltSage Settings.
6. Account Safety Notes
- Threads is linked to Instagram. Actions that violate Instagram policies can impact Threads.
- Over-automation can reduce reach or trigger enforcement. Use quality controls, spacing, and platform-safe behavior. You are responsible for account compliance.
7. Third Parties
We use trusted providers for infrastructure, authentication, and payments. They only access data needed to perform their services.
8. Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting support.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure.
10. Your Rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting support.
